YOUR CHALLENGE

  • This position can be based anywhere in the US or Canada, with travel to on-site customers.

  • You will be a part of a team that delivers cutting-edge IP-based SMPTE 2110 broadcast infrastructure projects. 

YOUR TASKS

Projects which include commissioning and configuration  and programming (on site or remote) of our delivered products, with a focus on IP media infrastructure projects

Technical troubleshooting (remote/on-site) 

Technical consulting, Conceptual design (Proof of Concept) 

Pre-Sales and  After-Sales Support

Close collaboration with the Lawo headquarters in Germany 

Other Duties as Assigned

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Education in the broadcast, audio, electrical engineering, or a related field is required
  • Experience in the broadcast environment, with a focus on engineering
  • Experience with IP projects, specifically SMPTE 2110 Networking expertise with respect to Layer 3 environments and Multicast workflow
  • Passion for new technology
  • Structured way of working and problem-solving ability driven by delivering service excellence
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Readiness for international travel
  • Ability to work alone with little or no supervision
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Moderately proficient with Python, Linux, and Kubernetes
  • Experience in Docker and Ansible is preferred.
