Customer Support Engineer Audio Infrastructure (m/f/x)

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will troubleshoot and perform incident management for audio infrastructure solutions that span the globe, in an environment of network- and IT-based technologies and specific broadcast products
  • You will work in an agile team environment as part of our Professional Service Group, focussing on technical support, assisting project deployment and participating in our 24/7 support hotline (rota)
  • To drive customers’ success, you will support external customers and internal stakeholders with technical expertise, operational workflows, application and system knowledge
  • You will be dealing with state-of-the-art products on the manufacturer side and keeping pace with the latest technological developments in a rapidly developing innovative company
  • Analysing systems, perform system updates and health checks, both remotely and on-site, will be part of your job

YOUR PROFILE

  • You come with a degree in audio and/or network engineering, a comparable technical education and/or professional experience and ideally have expertise in the field of broadcasting and/or IT technology
  • Experience in the broadcast industry would be of advantage, as would be a good knowledge about Media Networks in broadcast technology with a focus on radio audio infrastructure and its integration into media network solutions
  • Having worked with Lawo products, particularly with the radio consoles and the associated audio devices, would also be beneficial
  • You have a proactive approach and work independently, in a timely, structured and reliable manner
  • You are a team player with a customer-oriented attitude and customer service skills
  • You have excellent oral and written communication skills, are fluent in English (a must) and ready for domestic and international travel
