Responsibilities:

Project Delivery:

  •        Deliver system solutions that span the globe, enabling the live broadcast of major sports events at a high-quality level, leading to business growth, profitability, and customer success.
  •        Configuration and programming
  •        Executing factory pre-delivery testing
  •        Commissioning remote/on site
  •        Working closely with other Lawo teams, inside and outside of the professional services group
  •        Documentation (both for the customer and to enable other Lawo team members to provide support)
  •        Resolution of technical problems (remote/onsite)
  •        Operational and technical training for operators and engineers
  •         System updates and health checks remotely and in the field.
  •        Support Project Managers in the creation of support handover documentation. 
  •        Temporarily take over blueprint-testing and evaluation roles under the guidance of the system engineering team.

 

Customer Support:

  •        Qualify, monitor, and maintain support tickets throughout ticket lifecycle.
  •        Perform system updates and health checks remotely and in the field.
  •         with Sales, R&D, Product Management on behalf of the customer and their needs, inclusive of escalation as needed.
  •        Helpdesk tasks for customers
  •        Provide 24/7 hotline support. 
  •        Work closely with the Lawo headquarters in Germany.

 

Qualifications

  •        Education in broadcast, audio, electrical engineering, or a related field is needed.
  •        Network/IT knowledge, scripting experience, and knowledge of SMPTE 2110/2022/AES67 IP solutions, Linux, and Docker
  •       Experience in the broadcast environment, on-air broadcast operations, workflows, and IP projects.
  •      Expertise in operational workflows (Outside Broadcast, Live Production, Content Creation, etc.) 
  •        Strong verbal and written communication skills, engaging and professional way of interacting with customers.
  •        Readiness for domestic and international travel (up to 50%) and ability to work alone with little or no supervision.
  •        Structured way of working and problem-solving ability
  •       Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
