Project Engineer EU - Video & Media Infrastructure (m/f/x)

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Projects and Commissioning: 

  • Commission, configure and support Video/ Audio/ Network systems, in house, remotely or on-site. Take an active part in Site Acceptance Testing and contribute to customer training when needed collaborate with customers, system integrators and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and overall outcome. 
  • Enhance designs and document Media Systems incorporating Video/ Audio/ Network, working with other technology vendors as necessary to understand 3rd party elements.
  • Objectively evaluate performance and suggest corrective improvement actions.

 

Pre-Sales support: 

  • Support the customer journey process by delivering technical solutions, through consultancy, expertise and knowledge.
  • Propose and produce system designs that inform accurate quoting and enable successful delivery.
  • Produce scope of work documentation detailing the customers solution.
  • Give feedback to Product Line Management about specific regional or common feature requests to further enhance Lawo's products and solutions.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Education in the broadcast video, network, audio or related field.
  • Network, IT, Linux, Docker knowledge with configuration experience.
  • Knowledge of industry standard SMPTE 2110/ 2022/ AES67 IP solutions.
  • Experience in the media environment, on-air broadcast operations, IP projects including Control and Monitoring systems.
  • Must have passion for technology and ability to learn new products.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Structured way of working and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Readiness for domestic and international travel (up to 40%) and ability to work alone with little or no supervision.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Speaking more than one language is a plus - English is essential, German and Spanish are an asset.
